Abstract
The sponges composed of a bonelike apatite composite skeleton were prepared by conversion of calcium carbonates in simulated body fluid. The shape and size of pores are controlled by the shape and size of prepared NaCl. The sponges may be great potential candidates as scaffolds for tissue engineering.
