Description
We have succeeded in synthesizing metal containing SiC precursor nano-fiber from Polycarbosilane (PCS) using Single Particle Nanofabrication Technique. PCS were cross-linked along ion tracks of nano-size in diameter through the whole thickness of polymer thin film. Nano-fiber was developed on the surface of the substrate by dissolution using Glycidyl-methacrylate and washing away of uncross-linked polymer. Subsequent pyrolysis converted polymeric into inorganic SiC nano fibers.
