Abstract

Grinding of molten slag fine aggregate recycled from domestic wastes (Waste slag fine aggregate) influences the properties of the resulting concrete. This study focuses on the fineness modulus of the waste slag fine aggregate and properties of concrete with four levels of fineness modulus were examined. It was found that the compressive strength of concrete with waste slag nne aggregate increased with a decrease in the fineness modulus of the waste slag. This tendency became more apparent when the degree of substitution of the waste slag became larger.
