This paper investigates motion-induced wind forces acting on a rectangular high-rise building with a side ratio of 2 during coupled across-wind and torsional vibration. The motion-induced wind forces of 2 and 3 dimensional models are measured by wind tunnel tests using a forced-vibration method. Results of this study are as follows; 1) The motion-induced wind forces during coupled vibrations can be derived from those of non-coupled vibrations. 2) The qualitative tendency of response displacement obtained from the analysis taking the motion-induced wind forces into consideration are in good agreement with those measured in the wind tunnel using an aeroelastic model. 3) In the case of coupled vibrations, maximum positive out-of-phase components of generalized motion-induced forces appear between non-dimensional wind speeds of 5 and 7, when the rotation center of the building vibration exist on the windward side. However, when the rotation center exist on the leeward side, maximum positive out-of-phase components appear in the vicinity of non-dimensional wind speed 15.
