説明
A car deck waterproofing membrane is required to have suitable slippage resistance for safety driving as well as good performance for waterproofing. Cornering force was adopted as an index for evaluating resistance to slippage of it and an apparatus was developed to measure the force. The results measured for some car deck waterproofing membranes proved that the developed equipment is useful for evaluating slippage resistance of car deck membranes. The further measurements for the specimens subjected abrasion action by traffic showed noticeable reduction of slippage resistance of them, in particular at the conditions that water was spread or removed sand was deposited on their surfaces.
