Abstract
In this paper, we analyze stability of nonlinear uncertain systems using Piecewise Quadratic Lyapunov Functions (PQLFs), which has been used mainly to analyze stability of piecewise linear systems. And, it seems that PQLFs are not effective for stabilty analysis of uncertain systems. In this paper, we propose a method to construct of PQLFs for uncertain systems with polytopic uncertainties by adding new dividing hyperplanes to increase the freedom. The usefulness of the method is demonstrated by using some examples.
