Abstract

<p>The introduction of energy management systems (EMSs) makes it possible that a consumer reduces an electric power purchase cost by power consumption control and operation planning of equipment based on the variable electricity prices. Because the prices in the electric power exchange (EPX) are uncertain, a planning method considering the uncertainty is needed. We have been studied a distributed EMS (DEMS) in which trade of excess energy between EMSs is possible. In this paper, we consider the case where the electric power is supplied from EPX to the DEMS and study a planning method using stochastic optimization.</p>
