Abstract

The technologies are progressing very rapidly in each professional field of our society.<BR>In this study, new markets and techniques in the field of landscape architecture were discussed based upon the data collected from the responses to the questions which were answered by 74 landscape architects living in Kansai region.<BR>It has become clear from the analysis of markets data that the private marckets will be important as well as the public markets which have been the main markets.<BR>Landscape architects have an image about their new techniques that the traditional techni-“soil conditioning” techniques are the new techniques which landscape architects should understand.
