Abstract
The development of national government parks in Japan which was social infrastructure began in 1968. By past development, the area serviced increased. At once, Per capita income in Japan was on the rise. Paid visitors increased by such situation. Conceivable situation has been an increase in the number of paid visitors, development of national government parks has responded appropriately to the needs of the people. However, in recent years, has been deteriorating economic conditions, park budget has decreased. Per capita income has tended to decrease in 2009. Was observed also reduce the number of paid visitors. The direction of change in people's lives and national government parks development, it has not been clearly shown. In addition, no studies have clarified the relationship between trends in economic conditions in Japan and changes in the number of paid visitors of national government parks . This paper describes the relationship of the area serviced and maintenance expenses of national government parks, clarify the relationship between the number of visitors and the transition of the area serviced. What’s more, I showed a concept also discussed trends in the number of visitors and per capita income, national government parks will continue to respond appropriately to the needs of the people.
