Description
N200 and P300 are one of the Event-Related Potentials (ERPs) that are induced by an oddball task. The peak latency of N200 represents the endogenous component that reflects the automatic or controlled classification process of stimuli. The peak latency of P300 is a physiological index that reflects the information processing in the brain and represents the endogenous component that reflects the selective attention and cognitive function. Therefore, it is possible that these indicators suggest the decline of cognitive function in a human with aging. In this study, we discuss the influence of age difference for the peak latency of N200 and P300.
