Description

Optical compensation methods have been known to be an inevitable for high-performance LCDs. Among them,an in-cell type compensation method is more superior to the conventional film compensation method. We previously reported a compensation film consisting of A- and C-plates using UV-curable liquid crystalline materials. In this study, we report an in-cell type two-layered compensation film using UV-curable liquid crystalline materials for improving optical properties of IPS-LCDs.
