A Study on Characteristic of Compression Waves in Seaquake Generate Tank

Description
A tank in which the seaquake can be generated have been established, in order to investigate the propriety of the computing program based on the formulation and make clear the mechanism of seaquakes. In this study, the pressure distribution in the tank due to seaquake are measured to understand the characteristic of compression waves in tank. The experimental results were compared with the numerical calculated ones obtained by boundary integral equation method. This paper was reported the results, and discussed the validity of the formulation.
