Abstract
The final object of this research is the construction of Weather Routing System for a relatively small vessel in the coastal sea area and assessment effects of safety and economic by this system. The weather routing is optimum navigation based on weather and sea condition which varies at real time. This paper deals with the estimation method of ship position considering the ship maneuverability. The simulation of sailing ship was compared with the experimental result by a real small vessel. It was concluded that this simulation method was effective for weather routing system.
