Description
The monthly crude death rates (per day and per 100,000 population) from all causes for the age groups 65-74 years and 75-84 years indicate the decreasing tendencies during the last 10-year period (2001-2010).<br>Crude death rates from heart diseases and cerebrovascular diseases in 2009 for the aged 65 years and above are higher in winter than in summer. The rates for malignant neoplasms in 2009 for the aged 65 years and above indicate very little seasonal change.
