Abstract
In the monsoon area, especially Southeast Asia, many researchers has been studying about mega delta, using analysis of borehole core. The Irrawaddy delta which is known to mega delta, is located in Myanmar. However, it's environmental changes and geomorphic history haven't clarified still now, because it is difficult to do a field survey for foreign researchers, under the strictly controlled by army.We tried to dig borehole core to reveal stratigraphy of sediments. As a result of measurement of EC, pH and NaCl, and grain size analysis, we could classify into three units.
