- The Case of Former Tono Railway in Kani City
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to restore the discontinued railway site of the former Tono Railway (1912-1926) running through Kani City (former Hiromi village), Gifu Prefecture. The digitization of cadastral maps and the analysis of cadasters were applied to this study.<br>It became clear from this study that cadasters and surveyed cadastral maps were useful historical data to exactly restore discontinued railway sites.
