Abstract

There is an increasing trend for companies to outsource administration and operation of IT system and require the IT department to create businesses by leveraging IT as IT technologies including cloud computing evolve and use of smart devices and social media spreads. This requires the skill to realize customer value. This document reports on the awareness of participants, the usability of the service design method, insights acquired by organizing the seminar and other matters through the workshop-style business creation seminar which the service design method was applied to.
