従来のFINELOAD-3システムは2群改良ノード法シミュレータ SIMULATE-3と結合しており、その解析結果を参照解として炉心装荷パターン最適化を実現していた。今回、修正1群拡散差分法シミュレータを用いた結合システムにより、FINELOAD-3システムの有効性を確認した。
