先進セラミック複合材製の高温用コンパクト熱交換器を開発する計画は、スケールモデルの製作法を確立し、液体金属・高温Ｈｅ二重ループによ利熱伝達特性を評価する一方、間接発電サイクルプラントのコスト評価、供用中の微小欠陥の検査法とその場補修法の開発を進めている。
