Abstract
In this study, we obtained OH scavenging rate constant (k'OH) by dissolved organic carbon (DOC) in the solutions of atmospheric aerosol extracts, and determined a relationship between k'OH and DOC. As a result, the k'OH in the aerosol extracts could be estimated by the general formula based on concentrations of DOC (mol-C L-1). k'OH(s-1) ≈ [DOC]×(3.8±1.9)×108.
