Description
Pilomatrix carcinomaの本邦第2例を報告するとともに1980年以降の報告16例について考察をおこなった．Pilomatricomaが女性に多く，年齢は30歳未満が多いのにひきかえ，pilomatrix carcinomaでは男女比が3対1で男性に多く，40歳以上が75％をしめていた．再発が16例中6例にみられ，内2例に肺転移があった．病理組織学的類似性ゆえに初発腫瘍がpilomatricomaとされ，再発後にretrospectiveに本症と診断された例がみられたことから，再発がなければ見逃されている場合もあるといえよう．Pilomatrix carcinomaをpilomatricomaと対比しながら疫学的および組織学的に検討した．
