Description

This paper discusses how games can be used effectively in the language classroom and is based on the contributor’s own experiences as a language teacher as well as a language learner. Games used in language education can motivate students to work on mastering their target language more actively. However games must be used carefully planned to be beneficial in language classrooms. Digitalized versions of popular language games are also introduced.
