Description
Educational material evaluation in this article means a judgment of value to get feedback information with the purpose of adjusting various activities of investigating objectives which develop science teaching equipment. Educational material evaluation with an objective view is necessary considering the effect of teaching and learning process. We set up six view points and evaluation items for educational material evaluation: 1. Educational Objectives, 2. Capability of Equipment, 3. Manipulation for Experimental Work, 4. Selection of Raw Materials, 5. Technique of Production, and, 6. Management and Storage. We made questionairs to selected key personnels in order to get basic data to settle evaluation criteria. The method of questionaires for establishing evaluation criterion we adopted was to have key personnels select and mark on some items from these six items, by which we believe we can get high objectivity in evaluation. As a result, we found the item 1. Educational Objectives and the item 2. Capability of Equipment need as twice much weighting as the other four items.
