Abstract

This study explored whether the health checkup examinees who want to receive health guidance tend to have a commitment to smoking cessation. First, we identified Yes or No from record of question about desire of health guidance on check sheet. Secondly, we interviewed them by means of three questions made in our association. There was a significant relation between desire of health guidance and proper matching of smoking cessation clinic with them. It suggests that the health checkup examinees who want to receive health guidance tend to have a commitment to smoking cessation.
