<tt>In　the　molding　process　for　hard　polyvinyl　chloride,　heat　stabilizer　must　be　used　in　order　to　prevent the　decomposition　of　polymer　by　heat.　For　this　purpose,　the　stabilizer　containing　lead　has　been　used because　of　its　excellent　heat　stability　and　low　cost.　Since　the　city　water　quality　standard　was　revised,it　was　necessory　to　develop　a　new　heat　stabilizer　to　substitute　the　one　containing　lead.　This　paper　reports　the　development　of　a　new　stabilizer　and　the　optimization　of　an　injection　molding　process </tt><tt>through　parameter　design.</tt>
