Description
In the paper an inverse problem for the heat equation is simulated directly and globaly. The bounding transform is used for avoiding unboundedness of the domain and the solution. A parameter is introduced for avoiding the difficulty in numerical computation which arise from the discontinuity. Moreover, it is useful for investigation of the growth rate. Numerical results are satisfactory.
