Description

An introduction to the ancient writing was attempted for first year students of senior high school at the beginning of their first semester. This is the report which shows how the introduction was put into practice. The students were instructed to read the text carefully word by word, and to immerse themselves in the world of the work. The report includes an opinion and a suggestion as follows : a careful reading of each word and phrase enables the students to be aware of the dialogue structure, which makes an important literary element in the ancient writings, and gives the students a feeling that the classics are inviting.
