Abstract

In the Heike monogatari, there is a tale of a traitor against royal authority, which is the Tenno(Emperor)'s absolute authority. Yoritomo, the Heike and gods play a smooth role as a <tale> apparatus in the community. But Yoshinaka has a 'foreign' character which rejects to be dissolved in the monogatari. And this makes even for a moment a crack upon <the tale of a traitor against royal authority>. We may find Yoshinaka attractive in that he can give us such a moment.
