Description
Kuniaki Mitani once defined literature as a sort of madness because of its assimilative and indeterminate nature. This is very similar to Shinobu Origuchi's argument that literature originated from madness. Basically following Mitani's theory of literature and madness, here I will try to find a way to methodologically apply the concept of madness to studies of ancient literature.
