Description
1. Since literature is art, critics must have a fine sensibility for it. 2. Literature should be more historically studied. Even literary texts must be treated as historical products. 3. Each literary style must be not only aesthetically but also materialistically examined. Thus literary history consists of a chain of interactions between works of art and historical contexts where they were produced.
