Description
"HAGOROMO," a function words usage database, is a tool that enables internet searches of grammatical items in Japanese language education. In addition to publicly available information, we are currently researching meaning categories, meanings themselves, enclitic forms, and grammar category information, and will add these items in the future. This paper discusses the following: (1) the correspondence of the meaning uses currently available to the newly added categories; (2) grammar category information; (3) the relationship between meaning and grammar categories; (4) notations of the meanings of grammatical items; (5) notation methods for enclitic forms; and (6) future improvements.
