Description

<p>We have developed a compositional sugar analysis method for woody biomass by reference to the NREL procedure based on two-step sulfuric acid hydrolysis. GC-MS analysis gave more excellent peak resolution and linearity of calibration curves than HPLC. A framework for providing reliable analytical data has been established by conducting confirmation tests for a NIST reference material and experiments on repeatability and reproducibility.</p>
