説明

Ammonia borane (AB) is simply regenerated by using hydrazine and ammonia. This technique enables conversion of AB from hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN), which is activated by milling under hydrogen pressure. The conversion mechanism was clarified as B-H bonds on the h-BN surface created by ball-milling under hydrogen pressure forms AB. Since all reactions proceed on the h-BN surface, maximizing B-H surface by breaking of B3N3 ring structure is the key issue to increase conversion purity of AB.
