Abstract
The principal aim in the main subject is to pursue significance of creative activities in arts and crafts class, by making reference to the structures of “kotowake”, interpreting a wide variety of human activities including expressions like dance, music or art, and “miwake”, feeling and perceiving such things by all senses physically or naturally, with adopting the actual phenomenon which the author expressed in his life. In this paper, progress and the ways of children feeling matters in material environment and human relations such as teachers, and making their own senses of imagination in arts and crafts class will be illuminated. The main subject is composed of the author’s transition and experience in creative activities, looking back to the way of “kotowake” and “miwake” during infancy and childhood on the basis of the author’s particular case, and examining possibility of learning through arts and crafts. In addition, this paper proposes what teachers should be and act in Art education and also the scene of school to make the environment which teachers and students can respect each other and learn together.
