抄録

The purpose of this study was to develop psychological scale to measure anticipatory anxiety for the high school life, and to examine relations with anticipatory anxiety and school adjustment, and effect that school adjustment gives in career consciousness. The main results were as follows. (1) A significant interaction between anticipatory anxiety levels and times was found, and the mean score on well-being was significantly higher for July than May. In addition, the mean score on motivation for sports and culture activities decreased significantly from May to July, and relation with friends was significantly higher for girls than boys. (2) The effect that school adjustment gives in career consciousness without well-being was significantly higher for July than May. In the school adjustment process after the high school entrance to school, mutual interchange for the environment was performed among many students, and that it was effective for improvement of the career consciousness to promote the school adjustment of the student was suggested by the above-mentioned result.
