Description
In 1983, R.E.Clark reviewed many of the media comparison research studies, and asserted that media do not influence learning and serve just as delivery vehicles. This claim had a severe influence on media study. In 1991, R.B.Kozma refuted this position. He assumed that the learning process is active and constructive, and concluded that media would influence learning. This article briefly reviews this debate.
