Abstract

This thesis clarified that there was the base of Jiyuga Education in Akita Prefecture before 1921, where the first Jiyuga exhibition was held. 1. I recognize Jiyuga Education's accepting from the beginning of Taisho era to the end of Meiji, in the picture review of Akita normal school's publication "Kouyuukaishi," articles of newspaper "Akita Sakigake Sinpo" to introduce Jiyuga, and the thesis by Misawa Sasuke; a teacher of Akita girl normal school. 2. "Seinennkyouikusyadousikai" and NAGASE (Chokurin) of the principal of Akita municipal Nakadoori elementary school promoted liberalism education.
