Description

Official balls of the volleyball changed from BEIJING Olympic in 2008. Mikasa Corporation announced MVA200 comprised of eight pieces of panels with the dimple like the golf ball. On the other hand, Molten Corporation revealed the ball with the panel which has the form of hexagonal halftone pattern surface in 2009. These panel shapes are different, but both of them have been the international official balls. These balls aimed at stability of the flight trajectory as the ball which can be able to continue the rally. To that end, it was necessary to lower the Reynolds number to happen of the drug crisis. The aerodynamic performance test on the different front panels were performed this time. The Reynolds number of the drug crisis was confirmed to drop in any panels of balls.
