- J241022 Development of a roller scanning type palpation sensor
抄録
Palpation is a simple diagnosis method that doctors examine body and organs of patients by feeling with their hand However, palpation is not objective because the palpation sensitivity depends on skill and experience of doctors Therefore, an objective method for measuring tactile information is required In this study, a palpation sensor system for detecting an abnormality is proposed and fabricated The system consists of a contact terminal with a wheel, a strain gauge and a liner slider The contact terminal scans on the measuring object with pressing on the object The contact terminal is moved by the liner slider The force applied to the contact terminal is measured by the strain gauge Fundamental characteristics of the sensor are examined by using measuring objects made of polyurethane resin and silicone cylinders as an abnormality A peak waveform is appeared in the sensor output when the sensor is above the silicone cylinder From the results, it is confirmed that the sensor is available to detect the abnormality
