Description
This paper deals with developing an automatic scraping method for slide-way surface plate. As a first step of the automation of the scraper work, the scraping motion and force by the skilled worker is investigated. The experiment mainly composed of two unique systems; motion capture system, and scraping force measuring system. In motion capture system, scraper motion by the skilled worker is acquired by the high speed camera, and it was analyzed by image processing program. On the other hand, the scraping force which is vertical and horizontal direction is measured by the dynamometer in scraping force measuring system. As a result, motion and variation of the force which are appropriate for scraping work were clarified.
