Abstract

The sound pressure of the belt noise is measured and the operational deflection shape is investigated at specific rpm. Then the modal testing is carried out to obtain the natural frequencies and mode shapes and the mode contribution can be analyzed. Based on FE model, the shape modification of belt element is considered for noise improvement.
