Abstract
An incidence of motion sickness caused by cars and trains arises from complicated interaction related to human body, characteristics of vehicle, irregularity of road and speed of vehicle. This paper presents an evaluation method of motion sickness incidence taking account of running condition of vehicle. A computer program was developed for analysis of Motion Sickness Dose Value by using frequency weighted curve of ISO2631-1. The effect of encounter period to road pattern on motion sickness incident was discussed. Some analytical examples are shown for acceleration records measured at the loops in a mountain road.
