抄録

March 11, 2011, Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Station (NPS) was hit by tsunami caused by the Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake, resulting in nuclear accidents in its Units 1 to 4. In order to enhance the safety for nuclear power stations in the world, we earnestly broaden the lessons derived from the accident, and make proposals to improve safety. The author has been contributing to efforts to investigate the causes of accidents and the countermeasures for the other NPPs in Japan as a committee member to Investigation of Nuclear Safety, Atomic Energy Society of Japan, and an Opinion member of NISA to derive Technical Lessons from the Fukushima Dai-ichi NPPs accidents and a Safety Evaluation Member of NISA for the other NPPS in Japan. In case of Europe, it had already installed the heat removal system and filtered containment venting system from the lessons of TMI and Chernobyl Accidents. Decay heat removal system and CV spray cooling system with FCVS are ensured by using mobile generators and heat exchangers to keep the ultimate heat sink even in any natural disaster, such as large earthquake, big tsunami, sudden flooding etc. From the Lessons of Fukushima-Daiichi Accidents, we should to contribute to achieve the 1st class nuclear safety in the world NPPs. Solar and sustainable energy will not sufficient to replace the nuclear energy. Both the energy should be used in future. Nuclear education is very important to maintain the nuclear safety technology and safety culture in the world.
