抄録

This paper proposes a diagnostic method of flow tube corrosion in Coriolis mass flowmeter. In order to diagnose the corrosion, our proposed method calculates the spring constant of the flow tube using two change ratios obtained by fixing excitation gains at a driving coil. The main advantage of this method is that Coriolis mass flowmeter can measure the mass flow rate during diagnosis. Through the experimental investigation using non-corroded flowmeter, it is clarified that our proposed diagnostic method can evaluate the spring constant at any operating points.
