Abstract
A subsequent growth of a single protein crystal was induced by femtosecond laser ablation of protein crystals existing in advance in the supersaturated solutions. Since this technique is available in closed vessels with spatial processing resolution of micrometer order, we succeeded to obtain a single crystal even from a μm-sized polycrystal.
