抄録

In this paper, we discuss the transient response and the optimum control of relay servomechanism operating on sampled data, using phase plane analysis. When the initial point is given, we can trace the transient response of the system to step or ramp input using phase plane method shown in this paper. Here we treat two- and three- position relays with and without hysteresis. Optimum performance of a system to such input is defined and the means to obtain it is considered. The result of experiment is also shown in the paper.
