Description
Generally, it is considered that the emergence of the territorial behavior comes from the scent marking of animals. However, this explanation may overlook the dynamical aspect of the territory such as differentiation. In this paper, we propose new model of the collective behavior. This model would explain the dynamical territorial behaviors and resolve the trade-off relation between exploring and exploiting. Finally, we discuss the possibility of group cognition through agents' anticipation.
