Description

The rating of the karate kata competition is decided by the judgment of the referee. However, the judgment criteria of superiority and inferiority are not clear. The purpose of this research is to extract the karate-Kata motion features which are the criterion of superiority/inferiority and to quantify the win/loss determination. In this paper, as the first step, we described our analysis of KARATE motion based on subjective evaluation results of experts and discussed the obtained motion features.
