抄録

The published data of vergin stress measurements in situ. are statistically treated. And the following results emerged; The stress state of vergin rock pressure is nearly hydrostatic, and the magnitude of which is equal to the overburden pressure. This result can hardly be explained by elastic analysis. The value of ratio of horizontal to vertical stress predicted by elastic analysis is very low.<BR>The rheological analysis was made under the assumption of rock material to be Burgers'solid. The results obtained was well agreed with the data of measurements in situ. The authers consider the rheological analysis is a powerful device to the problem on the rock pressure phenomena.
