抄録

It is the object of this research to clear the electrode factors on the results of the electrostatic separation and to give the standards to determine the separating condition of the separator.<BR>The behavior (repelling action) of the mineral particles in the uniform elecrtic field and the field intensity on fhe various electrode conditions were considered theortically and experimentally.<BR>On this investigation, the results obtained are as follows:<BR>The electric field intensity is the principal factor on the separation.<BR>The diameter of the high voltage electrode, the clearance between electrodes and the applied voltage on the electrode mutually affect the electric field intensity.<BR>The correlations among the electrode factors to give the same field intensity on the grounded roll surface ore obtained theoretically.
